•	1899, At a recent meeting of the Pilot Commissioners, Capt. S. H. Bugge was elected a bar pilot to succeed Mr. Alf Olson, retired. DStar, Aug. 11, 1899.
•	1900, Steamboat captain, lived on Krebs Avenue, Scranton, born May 27, 1854, in Germany. Capt. Bugge died May 14, 1928, buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Pascagoula. 1900 U. S. Census; Greenwood Cemetery.
