WARRIOR
•	1846 - The U. S. Mail Boat Warrior, on her last trip encountered a violent storm, which
shattered her rudderpost and rendered it impossible for her to get through to Mobile. She stopped at Pascagoula to repair while the captain proceeded through by land with the letter mail for Mobile and sent back the letter mail for New Orleans to Pascagoula, which was brought to this place by the Warrior in time to take the Northern mail at the usual hour.
