CITY OF BAY SAINT LOUIS	ESTABLISHMENT	CP	LOCAL OBQANIZATION FOR CIVIL DEFENSE
WHES$AS, Section 8610-09, Mississippi Code of 1942, Recompiled specifies that each Municipality of Mississippi is authorized and directed to establish a local CiYil Defense organization for Civil Defense in accordance with the Missis8ippi Civil Defense Plan and Program, now therefore, the Board of Mayor and Commissioners of the City of ®ay St. Louis, Hancock County, Mississippi, on	this the 3rd	day of	September,
I960, does hereby order the establishment of a Civil Defense Council	in and	for the city	of Bay	St. Louis,
Mississippi.
Be it further ordered that the Civil Defense Council in and for the City of Bay St. Louis, shall be composed of the fallowing duly elected or officially designated officials of the City Governmentt The liayor, the Commissioners, the Chief of Police and the Chief of the Fire Department.
Be it further ordered that the above Civil Defense in and for theCity of Bay St.	Louis, and	that
they shall name an individual as Director of Civil Defense in and tor the City of	St.	Louis,	and that
such Director of Civil Defense shall, as soon as appointed, become a	member	of the Civil	Defense	Council,

Be it further ordered that, in accordance with the Mississippi Civil Defense Plan and Program as officially proaulgated by theGovernor of Mississippi, which Civil Defense Plan and Program has the full force and authority of law, the Civil Defense Council in and for the City of Bay St, Louis ia authorized to join	its	Ciyil	Defense	operations	in	and	for	the City of ^ay	St.	Louis	with	the	Civil	Defense	Council

WHEREAS, theCivil Defense Council of the City ofBsy St, Louis was established by order of the Commission Council, passed on October 3, I960; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Commissioners, who with the Chief of Fire Services and the Chief of Police Services, constitute the legal Civil Defense Council in and for the City of Bay St. Louis; and
W1EREAS, it is necessary that a Director for the Civil Defense Council be appointed by said Council; IT IS, THEREFORE, resolved by the Mayor and Commissioners of the city ofBay St. Louis, acting in their capacity as the Civil Defense Council of the City of Bay St. Louis, as follows*
That Lucien Kidd be and he is hereby appointed Director of the Civil Defense Council of the City of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
