It is proposed that the various municipalities, counties and parish in the MTO impact area and MTO have at least one representative on the Regional Planning Committee. The committee would be composed as follows:

Since an Area Mosquito Control Committee has been or~~nized to formulate a Mosquito Eradication Program for the area, it is suggested that the members of this committee form a Nucleus for the Regional ilanning Committee. With the experience the Area Mosquito Control Committee has gained, it is hoped that an active Regional Planning Committee, with the help that various local, state and federal agencies will volunteer, can work out solutions to all the community problems that will arise from the MTO impact.
Future Planning
Some of the MTO area problems that could very well be handled by a Regional
Planning Committee are as follows:
Adequate Housing for Newcomers Adequate Schools for Children Hospital Facilities Transportation Facilities Regional Road System City Utilities (Water and Sewage)
City and County Zoning Ordinances Public Health
With a well organized Regional Planning Committee, the major MTO impact community problems can be solved through coordination of efforts with uniformity prevailing throughout the area.
Upon motion duly made and seconded Leroy Cospelich was employed as a relief fireman at $1.10 per hour effective December 1, 1963-
