The hcus« retains its raised Creole cottage form with side-gabled roof and French doors opening onto undercut galleries. The galleries were originally decorated with jigsawn balustrades, column brackets, and scalloped fascia, and the owner plans to replicate these. Nevertheless, at the present time the house retains sufficient architectural integrity to be eligible as a good local example of .. pos~»bei.iuKi raised Creole cottage.
