She attended public school in BSL/Since her family spoke french she learned french and her first grade teacher taught in french. Annie was in the second grade bei6£re she learned English. She attended school
until the 8th grade and then went to work in the shrimp packing factory

In 1917 she had the flu and after that grew tall. However, in those days girls could go to work at any age, especially in the factories. In 192^/(c 1^ years old) she went to work for the Bell Telephone Co. here in the ^^ bldg on the Beach. She worked for Bell for 32 years

Annie has been a faithful Catholic. As a teen ager she sold UCA 3*. salve at .25c per dox and bought her first Catholic cross. She attended
6	A.M. Mass before going to work. Inasmuch as her job with the telephone co required split-shift work she was unable to belong to groups within the church.
