The Garden Club Center, located on a plot of ground that was donated by charter member (1930), Mrs. S. E. Crane and her husband, was built in 1953 and almost demolished by Hurricane Camille in 1969. Both the silver (1955) and golden anniversaries (1980) have been celebrated in this building. It served as headquarters for the 50th anniversary of the Spring Pilgrimage in 1997. Pick up a map and brouchure and enjoy refreshments. On display will be a juried art exhibit.

Good things do come in small packages. This ordinary 60’s ranch style home has been transformed into a cozy, charming home with cottage-style appeal. Each room reflects the homeowner’s eclectic style. You will see mismatched restored antiques, colorful fabrics, original artwork and fresh flowers. Friends describe the home as having “good energy”. A favorite room is the screened sleeping porch where family and friends enjoy long relaxing visits and Sunday dinners. Beyond the porch, a stone path leads to the tin-roofed “garden house” which serves as a respite from the business of life. The garden house and outdoor shower serves the gardeners well during hot summer days. The cottage style garden changes with the seasons but always includes favorite annuals, perennials and seasonal vegetables and herbs. Hydrangeas and gardenias are a favorite. Original yard art and stained glass designs add whimsy to this garden getaway. The cottage style home is charming and a reflecion of true southern living.

The home at 21 Golf View was purchased by Richard and Madeline Wagner in the late 1980’s. The ajoining lots were purchased at a later date. The Wagners bought the home as a weekend house on the Coast for themselves and their children, who live in different parts of the South and love to visit the Coast. The house consists of three bedrooms, two baths, and a great room featuring cathedral ceilings, a fire place and a bay window overlooking the yard. The dining area adjoins the great room. The furnishings are comfortable and child proof for the Wagner’s ten grandchildren.
The yard was landscaped by Richard Wagner with the help of his son, Mark Wagner. It is maintained by both Richard and Mark. The yard overlooks the Bayou and has a dock bordering the entire yard. There is a gazebo with a garden of Mississippi plants and shrubs along the bank of the bayou. There are numerous pine trees, azaleas, oleander, piracantha, and juniper bushes throughout the yard.
Refreshments will be served on the patio underneath the house, overlooking the bayou. Anyone who wishes to see the house may do so.
39.	HOME OF JANE ANN RALFES

The striking home at 8 Golf View Drive is a nine year old elevated two story house, owner designed, located on Bayou Mallini. Golf View is a small island accessible over a narrow isthmus of land at the end of Audubon Drive in Pass Chrisian, MS.
The prominent decor throught the home is nautical. The theme of the decor is lighthouses, which are displayed in a variety of ways in the different rooms with unique decor and design. The living room is opened two stories and the triple windows along with French doors allowing for wide views of the picturesque bayou and surrounding areas with lovely white beach homes.
Many azaleas and a variety of other flowering plants and shrubs adorn the yard surrounded by a white picket fence. A large deck from the living area and a constant breeze from the Bay of St. Louis, makes sitting outside in the evening quite a pleasure.
Being a retired teacher originally from New Orleans, Ms. Rolfes has named her retirement retreat “Recess”.
