Italian Romanesque chapel features a hand carved altar from Germany and tabernacle for the Blessed Sacrament and a shrine to St. Mary, the Virgin. The chapel windows are by Tiffany and the indoor fountain, designed with Christian symbols, was imported from Italy, The library contains the Sister's collection of 400 signed books, many, more than 100 years old. Included in the Stephens' antique collection is a Chinese chest, a framed Gregorian Chant from the 16th century, a Brussels tapestry that is more than 300 years old and a Dresden chandelier. A 6' x 8' painting from the Rembrandt School in Holland in 1890, hangs in the living room. The gardens feature a pool and ceramic fountain.

1.	CHASTANT-FUSILIER HOME, 2903 Beach Blvd, built between 1855 and 1858 as a summer residence for Jean Marie Chastant and his wife, Marie Aimee Fusilier of "Austerlitz" plantation in New Roads, LA The family would travel down to the Gulf by sailing ship to their summer home to escape the disease ridden mosquitos that infested their plantation. Built of heart pine, it rests on a bed of charcoal made in a kiln on the site. The simple columned style reflects its plantation roots. Interior stairs were constructed circa 1915 and the exterior stairs were removed. After the Civil War the Chastants made this their home. It was used as a family residence and as a summer home until 1973, when the late Dr. and Mrs. Edgar Hull (Mrs. Hull was their great-granddaughter) began a major restoration. The house was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. Additional restoration was done in 1996 by the owners, Dr. and Mrs. Edgar Warren Hull, who have preserved all the original furnishings.
2.	HOME OF DR. AND MRS. STEVEN ORLEANS, 706 Buena Vista St, built in 1892, is a white, 1 & 1/2 story wood frame cottage with a full width front porch. The main entrance is a Greek revival crossette frame with a 12 light transom with 3 light over panel sidelights, flanked by full length double hung windows and dark green shutters. The house was built from sturdy heart pine, except for the cypress-windows. The original fireplaces and columns on the porch were left intact during the restoration. The house has been described as an example of the late 19th century Queen Anne style, and has been recognized by the Pascagoula Historic Preservation Commission. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.
