Welcome Borg-Warner
We feel it an honor to have Port Bienville selected by Borg-Wamer for the construction of the company’s newest cycolac plant.
To Mr. Leonard A. Harvery, president; Mr. William F. Patient, vice-president, and all of the other Borg-Warner officials who have checked Hancock County over during the past five years, we thank you for selecting us.
This is our home, we are proud of it, and we know you will be proud of being a vital part of our community.
We realize it will be several years before the new industry will be operational.
We also particularly like the idea of so many of our residents being employed during the construction phase at Port Bienville.
Many of our natives will find opportunities available to them in meaningful, permanent employment at the cycolac plant.
Borg-Warner’s committment to hire quality people from Hancock County to work in the new industry means a lot to us.
Those of you moving to our Hancock County, we want you to make it your Hancock County.
It touches us to have a branch of a corporation which services industries in 20 countries and six continents make its home in Hancock County.
Borg-Warner will make Hancock County greater than it has ever been and we welcome each and everyone of you to your new home.
