Fort Morgan, Alabama, July 8, 1898:—
At *+:30 o'clock the main plant of the Quarantine Station was enveloped in flames. Saved only the boathouse and hospital building.
The burning of this plant vill necessitate all vessels arriving from infected ports having to go to Ship Island Quarantine Station for firaiRation.
