V<n Orinens Visit Curing Verdi f.ras
v,?e returned last night frotr. Nev Orleans after a visit of eight days. It vas very pleasnt?but after all ve vere glad to get tack to Jackson. Ve had evory care and attention and all kinds of good things to eat. I had a little shopping to do, and va? quite busy all of the time.
Bay St. Touls Described
Monday ve (that is Capt. and Mrs. Area (parents of Adelbert), G2n*l Anes and I) vent over to Bay St. Louis to look at houses and land.
It is a very pretty plnce, extending sonsg six niles along the coast,?the houses on one side of the road, the ocean vashing the other.
It is sandy pine country, exceedingly iry and cleanly.
The orange trees vere full of fruit?sour, I sunpose, but very pretty to look at. The peach trees in bloom, and the at'roE'ohere baltry and soring-like.
I think it quite likely Capt. Ace? (originally from T'eine but in flour milling business In Northfield, Minn., and loua now) vill aid Gen*l toes in the purchase of a place, and com? dovn for three or four vinter months to occupy it.
