said her Aunt Lila married Narcisse “Ed” Saucier and had a large family. Delila was living with her parents in the 1850 census of Marion County, Mississippi. She was listed as born in 1835 in Mississippi that year. Family descendants and Ancestory.com show Delila Cameron married Narcisse Edouard Saucier, and they lived in Saucier, Mississippi. She and her husband are buried in a small private cemetery in Saucier called the Pierre Saucier cemetery. Delila’s headstone says she was bom on May 30, 1833, and died on August 11, 1893. Some researchers show Delila was bom in Biloxi, Mississippi, but give no sources. This is clearly incorrect, for we know she was bom in Marion County as the 1850 census reflects. We also know her parents never lived in Biloxi. Additionally we find where Delila was baptized on May 7, 1879, at Annunciation Catholic Church in Kiln, Mississippi. The record says “Delila Mary Cameron” was “bom on May 3, 1837, in Marion County, Mississippi.” It also says she was the wife of “Edward Saucier, and daughter of Jessy Cameron and Malvina Stanford.” Delila and her family are found in the 1870 and 1880 censuses of Harrison County. These record list her husband and a large family. After Delila’s death in 1893, Narcisse E. Saucier married a second time to Elizabeth Holland (widow Ramsay) and had 2 more children: Noel Saucier, bom January 20, 1900, and Anna May Saucier, bom February 24, 1903. The following is a list of Delila’s known children:
1.	Elizabeth Saucier - bom on September 25, 1854, as found on her baptism record at St. Paul Catholic Church in Pass Christian, Mississippi. She died in Bay St. Louis on July 5, 1896, and was married to William “Lott” Herrin. They had: Lula, Cornelius, Alfred, Lucius L., Charles, Walter, and Doc W.
2.	Edouard Saucier - bom on October 19, 1856, and died as a child. He was baptized at St. Paul Catholic Church in Pass Christian, Mississippi.
3.	Martha Elizabeth Saucier — bom on March 4, 1858, married Oliver Louis Edwards, and lived in Jackson County, Mississippi. They had: Easter, Henry O., Margaret J., Ella C., and Alice.
