Nancy E. Waters Cameron. She said following the death of John Cameron, Nancy married a man named Johnson “John” Morris and had one daughter named Laura Morris, but Laura often used the Cameron name when young.
In the Marion County marriage records, we find where Johnson Morris married Nancy E. Cameron on October 7, 1870, and we presumed this was Nancy E. Waters Cameron, until we realized John Cameron and Nancy E. Waters’ last child, Katherine, was born on September 15, 1871! We will let others figure this one out. We did find in the Annunciation Church records where “Laura Morris” was born on July 11, 1875 and baptized on May 26, 1888, daughter of “Morris and Elizabeth Walters.” The mother is, of course, Nancy Elizabeth Waters. Nancy used “Elizabeth” as a first or middle name on several of her children’s baptism, marriage, etc. records. At Annunciation Church in the “Priest’s Notebook,” there is an entry that says “Laura Morris died in 1938, daughter of John Morris and wife of John Peterson.”
Laura Morris married John Edward Peterson on January 19, 1893, as found in the Hancock County civil records. Family members told us that John and Laura Peterson lived in Hancock County and had: Mathias, Porter,
Arthur, Clayton “Big Boy,” Asa “Little Boy,” Agnes, Annetta, Ethel, Harry, and James (last two died as infants).
To help us with the following information, we contacted many descendants of the below Camerons. The children of John W. and Nancy E. Cameron were:
1.	Randolph “Doc” Cameron - bom in 1859 as found in the 1860 Marion County census living with his parents. He married his cousin, Tabitha Malvina Reyer, the daughter of Christopher Reyer and Malvina Deschamp. He lived in Fenton and is buried in the Alphonse G. Malley cemetery with a headstone that says “1851 - 1948.” His son, George, told us that Doc was bom on December 12, 1859 and died on August 29, 1948. He had:
a.	Ida P. Cameron - she married Andrew Bennett and lived in Fenton. They had: Hester, Albert, Willie, and Edice (girl).
b.	George O. Cameron - he married Lizzy Mae McCann and had no children. He had a home near Fenton and also lived in Meridian, Mississippi. He was a very pleasant gentleman with a wonderful memory. We got much of our information from him and his sister, Ollie.
c.	Ollie Cameron - she was first married to Samuel M. Bennett and second to Thomas J. Herrin and lived in Pass Christian. She had the following by her first husband: Samuel, Louis,
Harris, James, Britt, and Ruby.
d.	Nancy Cameron - she married four times in the following order:
Othr Anderson, Nicholas Necaise, Charles Johnson, and Roy Koenenn. By Anderson she had: Forrest and Etta, and by Necaise
