4.	Edward Cameron - bom 1874 as found in the 1880 Hancock census. He was bom in October 1879 as found in the 1900 Hancock census, identified as her “brother” while living with, Martha Cameron Moran. What appears to be him is in the 1930 census of Harrison County. He appears as “Edd Cameron,” listed as bom in 1870, widow, with children: Monroe, Ellen M., Margaret V., and Edna M. Cameron. Older family members told us Ed also had: Viola and Thomas Cameron.
After Thomas Cameron’s death or departure, Evaline Morrison Cameron had a son named Sylvester, also called “Vesf ’ Cameron, who was bom in 1880 as found in the 1910 census of Hancock County. He is also found in the 1930 Hancock census as bom in 1885. One of his granddaughters, Marlene Hoda Daniels, of Kiln, Mississippi, told us in 1986 that Sylvester was the “love child” of Leon Ladner. Leon was bom in 1865, the son of Edmond Ladner - see page 302 of the “Ladner Odyssey” for more on these Ladners. Leon Ladner later married Louise F. Hoda in Hancock County on August 5, 1886, and had a family there. Even though Sylvester’s father was a Ladner, he usually used the Cameron name because he was raised in the household with his half brothers and sisters, who were Camerons. Sylvester married Katherine Ladner and had a family in Hancock County. Their children were: Stanley, Rosie, Ramsey, Elmer, Louise, Velina, and Katherine. - some of Vest’s children went by Cameron and others used the Ladner name. Sylvester and Katherine are both buried in the Alphonse G. Malley cemetery with headstones. One of their children was Katherine Cameron who married Ares J. Hoda in 1938. These are the parents of the above named Marlene Hoda
