My father, William James Carr, was born at Aspin Hill. As a child I can remember many visits to see my grandfather, Aunt Mary Rogers, Uncle John Rogers, Aunt Nellie Carr, the Pugh's, the Gillocks and jyRSL Fannie Fortune.
