The following is a list of the descendants of Joseph “Pepe” Carrio and Mary Ann “Annie” Crowley:
I.	Therese Carrio - her baptismal record is recorded at OLG Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis. It shows her born on February 10, 1853. No other record of this child can be found, nor has anyone ever heard of her. Apparently, she died as an infant.
n. Mary Ann Carrio - according to her baptismal record in OLG Catholic Church, she was bom on November 5, 1854. A lawsuit filed in Hancock County #1909 (Carrio vs. Turcotte) states that she died on April 4, 1896 leaving behind her husband, James Rolls and children. This lawsuit also states that James Rolls died on March 21, 1914. This Rolls name is often mispronounced or misspelled as “Rawls”. Mrs. Grace (Othma) Seaman of Houston, TX was a daughter of Fannie Rolls Farragut and a granddaughter of Mary Ann Carrio Rolls. She was in possession of the “Family Bible” which contains many dates and names of her ancestors. This Bible was in poor condition and will be referred to as the “Rolls Bible”. She has been most helpful in tracing the descendants of Mary Ann Carrio Rolls and will forever be remembered. Mrs. Seaman said that her grandmother, Mary Ann Carrio is buried in Grand Bay, Alabama, but she lived the last years of her life in or near Pascagoula, MS. This city was called Scranton in those days. The Rolls Bible also verifies Mary Ann Carrio’s birth date as well as James Rolls’ death date. It also says James Halet Rolls was bom in Mobile, AL. on November 12, 1849 and died in New Orleans, LA in 1914. This Bible contains many very old dates - back to the 1700’s for the Rolls ancestors -names such as Hamilton, McClure, Bickerstaff, etc. Additional information on these families is in our research files - see letters from Mrs. Grace Seaman as she copied this information from her family Bible.
The old Bible states that James Halet Rolls married Miss Mary Ann Carrio on October 9, 1872. This marriage record is recorded in OLG Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, MS. It states that Rolls was a member of the Methodist Church, and his parents were W.H. Rolls and Sarah Turner. The following is a list of their children as taken from the Rolls Bible and expanded by Mrs. Othma (Grace R.) Farragut Seaman. Other Rolls descendants around the country verified much of this information.
A.	Fannie Amelia Rolls - bom August 30, 1873 in Bay St. Louis. Her baptismal record is at OLG Catholic Church. Her date of birth, as well as those of her brothers and sisters, is recorded in the Rolls Bible and that is our source of birth dates here. Fannie died on June 15, 1933 at Pascagoula, MS and is buried at McPhela Cemetery near Moss Point. She married Alfred August (Fritz) Farragut on October 29, 1895 and lived in Pascagoula. The old Bible shows that Farragut was from New York. Their children are as follows:
1.	Mary Virginia “Mae” Farragut - bom on June 12, 1898 and lived in San Antonio, TX. She married on October 19, 1919 to Joseph N. DuBois and had one daughter called Norma Mae who lived in San Antonio, TX. Norma Mae married Oscar 0. Harber and had: Sharon L. (Mrs. Dan Alvarado) and John 0. (Kathleen Davidson).
2.	Loyal David Farragut - born on October 1,1898, married Rosalie Lucia De’Espen and lived in Houston, TX. No children.
