He married at Raypham, o Apr. 1/73 (Taunton Vital Records), Phebjc Wilbore of Raynham, probably daughter of Abijah and Pbebe (White) Wilbore, who were married at Raynham 30 May 1744 (Raynham vital records), but her birth is not recorded.
Jabez Carver was a soldier in the Revolution. He was enrolled, apparently at Taunton, as * Minutemaa, and served as a private in Capt. Robert Crossman?a company of Minutemen, Col. Nathaniel Leonard?s regiment, whim marched to Rox-bury 20 Apr. 1775, in response to thejdjtrtp of 19 Apr. 1775, and he was discharged 29 Apr,. lTTVhftvhig served 12 days. He was also a corporal in Capt Samuel Tube'# company, Col. Timothy Walker?s regiment, having enjifted 1 May 1775 and appearing on a muster roll dated f 1773.
