TT.O. Dally Picayune Triple Sheet - Tuesday, November 2, 1869 c 1
Col. John F. 'I. Claiborne of Mississippi sends us by the hands of our neighbor, Mr. Thomas **urray, some samples of 1500 frushels of s?-?eet potatoes, grown by him on his plantation in Hancock County.
Col. Claiborne h*s made the sveet potato famous by his eulibgies \ipon it, and we wonder not that it revf^j^s him with such enormous erowthn as these, one of which is 1*+ inches in circumference and a foot in length, an^ the rest nearly as l^rge.
