With regard to tombs or graves, you may recall that some time ago I walked grave-to-grave through the Cedar Rest cemetery but could not find any Deblieux burials. This is probably because the markers have become illegible or have disappeared. I recently scoured the other large cemetery, by St. Rose de Lima church, but again found nothing.
I have also inquired at the courthouse about death records, only to find that they are not recorded locally, but sent to Jackson. I am informed that you may bet some information by writing the Bureau of Vital Statistics, P.O. Box 317, Jackson, phone 601-576-7981.
Enclosed is copy of the 1880 census, which you may already have, as I recall that you knew of the address at 95 Front St. That is of course an old number, and we do not have a way to tie the old to the new. However, Charles has knowledge of a couple of old number
