This "Louisa Mimi" (the younger one) can now be identified as a child of Jean Baptiste Fayard dit LaLancette and Susanne Fayard dit LaLancette based on the above cited baptism record of "Angelica Favre." The use of the Fayard and LaLancette names suggests Louisa Mimi (the daughter) (aka LaLancette), was closely connected to the Fayard dit LaLancette family, just as Susanne Fayard dit LaLancette, was closely connected to this same family.
Louisa Mimi also used various first names to include, Louisa, Louise, Marie Louise, and Palagra; and she used last names to include, Mimi, Favre, Fayard, and LaLancette. In her later years, she went by "Madam Charlo."
Baptiste Favre, father of our Francois Favre (1798), was the son of Jean Claude Favre and Marguerite Wiltz as found on the 1789 baptism of his grandson, "Andre Estevan Fabre" (Favre).
Baptiste Favre was born about 1762, based on the age of his wife, Felicite Fayard dit LaLancette, who was born on August 24,1762, daughter of Jean Pierre Fayard dit LaLancette and Francoise Fisseau dit DeLorme. He was probably born in or near Mobile, Alabama, for this is where most, if not all, of Jean Claude Favre's children were born. Baptiste Favre died about 1834 in "Shieldsborough" (in the 1830s included Bay St. Louis and Waveland, MS) based on lists of early taxpayers in Hancock County. These lists are found on microfilm at the Biloxi MS Library. On an 1832 list of taxpayers, we find "Baptiste Favre" paying property taxes on land in "Shieldsborough." Then on the 1835 list of taxpayers in Hancock County, we find "Widow Baptiste Favre" paying taxes on property in Bay St. Louis." We feel this "widow" is Baptiste's wife, Felicite Fayard dit LaLancette, who he was probably legally married to, and not Susanne Fayard, his mistress. Based on the above, Baptiste Favre died in "Shieldsborough, Mississippi" between the years 1832 and 1835, and we will use "about 1834" as his death date until something more specific can be found. Based on the above information and other information, Baptiste Favre had children with 2 women at the same time - his wife, Felicite Fayard dit LaLancette, and his mistress, Susanne Fayard dit LaLancette (his 1/2 Indian mistress), both children of Jean Pierre Fayard dit LaLancette, but different mothers! See pgs. 84 - 89 of our Favre Family History.
Baptiste Favre and "Felicite Fayard" had 2 children baptized at St. Louis Cathedral on June 27, 1796, (Bapt. Bk. 3, p. 8) and a probable third child. See pages 84 - 87 of our Favre History for more.
Their children:
1.	"Andre Estevan Fabre" was born on October 31,1789, son of "Bautista Fabre & Felicite
Fayard." Parental grandparents named were "Juan Fabre" and "Margarita" with no last name given. We know from other church records, they were actually Jean Claude Favre and Marguerite Wiltz. Maternal grandparents named were "Juan Begins and Francisca Fiso" who are actually Jean Pierre Fayard dit LaLancette & Francoise Fisseau dit DeLorme. Why the priest used "Begins" as Jean Pierre's last name is unknown - perhaps it was a nickname or the priest simply made a mistake. Godparents were "Pedro and Francisca and Panguinet." This baptism record says "they were all natives of Mobile." Felicite Fayard was born on August 24,1762, as found on her baptism record. We know both parents of "Andre" were white, and not Indian.
The above "Bautista Fabre" is actually Baptiste Favre, who was also white. He was having a relationship with Susanne Fayard and having children by her before and during his marriage to Felicite Fayard. Although we have not found a record, it is our belief that Baptiste Favre was actually married to Felicite Fayard based on the complete baptism records of 2 of their children. We also believe Baptiste Favre was not married to Susanne Fayard. We have found
