Fayard, Gilmore is the proprietor of the Railroad Exchange and keeps a quiet and orderly place. He has been here for four years, and he is a genial good fellow and enforces a strict observance of the rules of the house. He keeps all kinds of liquors, choice wines, ice-cold imported beer, and caters to the customers in a manner that pleases all. He keeps the standard brands of tobacco and the best makes of cigars, and all users of the "weed of Virginia" find just the kind that suits them best. He owns his building, carries a large stock of pure liquors, and besides this owns other valuable property in the city. (SCE 05/20/1893) Fayard, Mr. Gilmore, has been granted license to retail spirituous and vinous liquors. (SCE 6/10/1893)
