According to the cencus records Nimrod Smith was 82 years old in November 1850. He was listed as being from North Carolina. If this information is correct He was born sometime during the year of 1768. I have no information on when he died because there was no cencus recorded during the Civil War years of the 1860's.
In the 1820 Cencus Nimrod would have been 52 years old but there was no male listed for that age. There was one male age 26-45. As the Marshals were instructed to list only the occupants of the house at the time of their visit, it could be that Nimrod was off working at the time, and had someone caring for his children. As	no female was listed	in	Nimrods age group I	assume
his wife had	died before 1820. No	female was listed with	Nimrod
as his wife in any cencus.
Nimrod has	two sons 0-10 listed	on	the cencus of 1820.	Sherrod
Smith was 40	and from Georgia on the	1850 cencus, so that would
indicate that Sherrod was born in 1810. Nimrod left North Carolina and stoped in Georgia Sometime prior to 1810. He traveled on to Greene County Miss, before the 1820 cencus.
