1870 Hancock census. No one remembers her, and she probably died as a child. The other child was William Henry Krankey who was bom on June 22, 1861, and died on May 15, 1939, as found on his headstone in the Lakeshore, MS, cemetery. He is also found in the 1870 census with his parents. Jerry’s mother, Velma A. Zengarling Heitzmann, told us that William or “Willie” as he was called married her aunt, Marie “Barbara” Zengerling on November 29, 1884, at OLG Church. They had the following children: Maria Helena “Mary,” Agnes Barbara, William John, Harry “Willie,” Georgia Rose “Georgie,” Josephine E., and Albert Leon Krankey. The reason we have expanded on this Krankey line is because of their connection to the Zengerling family of Hancock County. Many Krankey descendants still live around Bay St. Louis and surrounding areas. For more information on this family, see our Johannes “John” Zengerling History.
The Krankey family lived near Bayou Caddy cemetery in Lakeshore, MS. The home site was located nearby in what is now a small pecan orchard approximately 100 yards from the home of Ed Ladner, at the end of Edward V. Ladner Road.
Mary Caroline Green’s first husband, Henry Hines Krankey died, and she soon married William A. Henderson on November 15, 1881, as found in OLG Church marriage records. The record says William was the son of Wiley Henderson and Margaret Hudson. This record also says Caroline was the “widow of Henry Krankey.” This marriage is also recorded in the Hancock County Courthouse. Mrs. Allred told us that Caroline first lived in Pearlington, MS and later Slidell. By this second marriage, Mrs. Allred told us Caroline had three children:
B.	William Henry “Willie” Henderson - he was bom on October 2, 1882, and died in 1959. He married Pauline Fredrick and had a family in Slidell, LA. One of their children was the above Mrs. Allred.
C.	George Sylvester Henderson - he was bom on January 22, 1885, and died on June 2, 1967. He married Clara V. McKean and lived in Slidell.
D.	Wiley Richard Henderson - he was bom on September 7, 1887, as found on his WWI Draft Registration, and he died in May 1978. He married Elizabeth “Victoria” Goubler and lived in Slidell.
Mrs. Allred told us that Caroline Green married for the third time to John D. Fricke, Jr. on June 25, 1892, as found in the New Orleans marriage records. By Fricke, Caroline had:
E.	Margaret Theresa Fricke - she was bom on November 24, 1893, and died on October 17, 1961. She first married Louis Goubler, and second to Edward Frederick and lived in Slidell. One of her
