The following information about Jacob was told to us by Hilda D. Green, who was living in Arabi, LA, in 1973. She said that her grandfather, Jacob, married Anna Zimmerman, and they lived in an area called Lake Catherine, located in south-east LA. They married at Annunciation Church in “1873” as “Jacques Lundgreen and Anna Zimmerman” with no day or month listed and no parents named. At least six of their children were baptized at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis. The children’s mother was listed as “Annie Cimmers”, “Anna Simmons”, etc. Anna Zimmerman’s death certificate in LA says she was a native of “Alsace- Lorraine,” and she died on April 15,1928.
