Susanna's baptism took place on August 25, 1831, one day after her birth. Her parents listed were Johann Conrad Sunder and Magdalena Simon. Magdalena was Johann Conrad Sunder's third wife, with the previous ones dying. He had children by all three wives to be discussed shortly. The following information was taken from the Protestant Church of Eppingen, Germany.
Johann ?Conrad? Sunder (umlaut over letter ?u?) was born August 12, 1774 in Eppingen, son of Johann ?Stephan? Sunder and Margaretha Gebhard. He died there on January 5, 1847. He married first to Elisabeth Barbara Soller on September 6, 1796 in Gondelsheim, Baden, Germany. She died on February 16, 1812 at age 40. By Soller he had:

Johann ?Conrad? Sunder married a second time to Margaretha Barbara Lochbaum on September 18, 1812 in Eppingen, and she died on May 25, 1826. She was from Sulzfeld, Germany. They had the following children:
I.	Elisabeth Sunder-b. May 4, 1814, d. July 26, 1814
II.	Heinrich ?Henry? Sunder-b. June 15, 1816. He married Eva Christine Holzle on October 24, 1847 in Eppingen. He later ?immigrated to America in 1854? from a note in the church register. Once in the U.S., he and his family started using ?Sinder? as their last name. He and his family are found on the same ship with his half-sister, Susanna Sunder when it docked in New Orleans. They had:
A.	Heinrich ?Henry? Sunder-b. December 5, 1841. Henry Sinders is listed in the 1910 census of Green Co., Indiana, age 76, with wife, Eva A., age 66, and one son, Leroy, age 24. He is also listed in thel860 census of St. Louis, MO with his parents.
B.	Jacob Sunder-b. March 14, 1843 and immigrated to America in 1854. He is listed
