Pauline said he was baptized a Presbyterian but changed to a Methodist when young, although he was not much for attending services. George insisted that all of his children be baptized as Methodist, and they were baptized at the Methodist Church on Main St. in Bay St.. Louis. Pauline, being a ?good Catholic? had them all baptized again at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis without George's knowledge. We have copies of these records. George was also an active member of the local Woodmen of the World Social Organization, and he was the one who actually started the chapter in Bay St. Louis. We have a photo of him in a group shot with the original members at the time. We are now is possession of George and Pauline's Family Bible. One day we hope to donate it, and all of our research records to the Hancock County Historical Society for preservation and use by future generations. They had:
