Hie Kergosien clan, dcscend-s of Dr. and Mrs. A. A. Ker-ien, who came to Our Lady of Gulf Parish in 1911, is one of largest and most widely >wn Catholic families in Mis-ippi and surrounding areas.
Dr. and Mrs. Kergosien, prom-lt in parish and city affairs lughout their lives, reared a lily of three girls and five s. All, except two boys and girl, still reside in Bay St. lis. Since then the family has wn to include 24 grandchil-ti and seven great-grandchil-n.
n the 50 years of their rried life, the family of Dr. Mrs. Kergosien gathered each ? at Christmas from far and r to celebrate the great feast nher, with the exception of ;e times in World War II, :n the family was scattered, 'ollowing the death of their :her in 1940 and the death of r father in 1949, the family perpetuated the custom be-by their devoted parents years . Their devotion to keeping ng their all-important family is an inspiration to others a lasting tribute to a truly holic mother and father who tured in their offspring the ils of the sanctity of family
