had been first married to 1BA3B. VICTOIRE "VICTORIA" MORIN (see p. 142).

1GF9. EUGENE LADNER No further information (see pps. 100 & 368/369).
1GF10. REMI "REMEY? "REMY" "LUMA" "SEUMAR" LADNER married ELIZABETH CHILDS
(see page 100).
3IE. CELESTE GALIXTA CUEVAS married GINES GARCIA
After this couple had disposed of their land holding at "Old Chimneys"
(see p. 730), they moved to Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. They appear in the
1840 and 1850 HANCO census records - he 56 years of age, born in Spain and
she then as 43 years old - and this is the last record that I have for him.
In the 1870 HANCO census, Household 489/628, she appears as a widow,
age 69 years old and her son Ferdinand, age 45, is living in her household.
Her son Joseph and his family are living next door in H/H 490/629. The next
record that I find on this family is in HANCO Deed Book H at page 444, when
the family sells land to Gustave Lind. Citing, in part,
"This indenture, made the 19th day of June A.D., 1880 between Celes Garcia, Ferdinand Garcia, Claris Hode, Joseph Garcia, Manuel Garcia & Eugene Garcia of the first part..........(sell land described as)

.....In Witness whereof........
/s/ Celes "X" Garcia	/s/	Manuel	"X"	Garcia
Ferdinand "X" Garcia	Eugene "X" Garcia
Joseph "X" Garcia	Clarise "X" Hode
In separate attestations Celes Garcia (Celeste Galixta Cuevas), Ferdinand Garcia, Manuel Garcia and Eugene Garcia sign and Clarisse (Garcia) Hode is identified as being the wife of Mathurin Hode.
From this document, I know that Gines Garcia is deceased and these are his then living heirs on June 19th, 1880. When Celeste Galixta Cuevas Garcia died and where she is buried, I do not know. Their children were:
3IE1. FERDINAND GARCIA, born January 27, 1829, was baptised "Fernando" on July 17, 1829 (SLC BB 13 (1828-32) p 91 A 397). He appears in the 1880 HAN60 census, age 53, still single and living with his mother.
I have not found a record that he ever married - no further information. 3IE2. MARIE ISABELLE GARCIA, born January 22, 1828, was baptised July 17,
