He joined the US Army WWI, and was with the 39th Div. in France and Germany. After the War ended he came home. He was also in the Mexican Border uprising. Tinnie died	. Jefferson is presently living at the Conva Rest
home in Hattiesburg. He is 96 years young this pased July 1980.
