Helena Eula (Cuevas) Ladner's Great Grandfather, Wayne Cuevas of Juan De Cuevas, settled on the Gulf Coast and later moved to Cat Island. He was very prosperous. He reared a large family of which the Gulf Coast has been home to many of his descendants.
