Edward Wright, of Sudbury. Benoni was the second deacon of the church of Sherbom, and constable in 1682; selectman, 1690-1710; d. 10 April 1738.

In the fourth generation we have, therefore, only the following who bore the name and left male descendants: Isaac4, William4, Ebenezer*, Moses4, Thomas4 and Edward4. Isaac and Ebenezer settled in Oxford, Mass., and are the ancestors of the Oxford branch; William settled in Killingly, Ct., and is the ancestor of the Killingly family; Moses settled in Framingham, and from him comes the Templeton branch; Thomas settled in Watertown; Edward moved from Sherbom to Dublin, and is the ancestor of the Dublin, N.H. branch.
