then shows up in 1815 in a land petition in Marion Co., MS. He married Nancy McAfee on January 20, 1818 in Covington Co., MS, had a family, then moved to Covington Co., Ms where he died before the 1850 census (John Barron, p.9 and 25, etc, January 1, 2004).
Solomon Lott - was the son of Arthur and Sarah Ann Lott and a nephew of our Solomon Lott. He was born between 1791 and 1800. He first appears in Mississippi in 1814 when he serves with his brother, Simon, in Col. George Nixon's 13 th Regiment of the MS Militia. On January 6,1823 he weds Martha Warren (Marion Co., MS Marriage Bk. A, p. 252). Then on September 15, 1848 he dies in Marion County, and his probate records name his widow as Martha Lott and children Simon Lott, Sarah A. Lott Owens, Thomas W. Lott, and Nathan Lott (Marion Co., MS Probate Bk. 2-A, p. 588+).
John Lott - was the son of Arthur and Sarah Ann Lott and nephew of our Solomon Lott. John was bom c. 1790 in Georgia and married Thirza Easterling on August 1, 1825 in Marion County, MS (MB B, p. 14). This John Lott is also thought to have married Elizabeth Lee on February 7, 1818 in Marion County, MS, but this record clearly says she married “John Lott, Jr.”. At that time, the only person going by “John Lott, Jr.” in Marion County was John Lott (bom between 1794 - 1802), the son of John Lott c. 1760 and Sarah Ann Lott. With this, the John Lott, son of Arthur Lott, Sr. c. 1750 is in all probability not the person who married Elizabeth Lee. This John Lott (son of Arthur Lott, Sr.) apparently moved around and settled for a while in Sumpter Co., AL around
1835.	Then in 1850 he and family are in Choctaw Co., AL. All but the first three of their children were bom in Alabama. In 1853, he is on the Goliad Co., Texas tax rolls. In 1854 his wife, Thirza, begins paying the taxes, indicating her husband was probably dead. She later appears in the 1860 Goliad Co., census, 1870 in the Refugio Co., Texas census and 1880 Atascosa Co., TX census. They had ten known children, who for the most part, settled in TX ( Barron p.9, and 28,etc.).
Arthur Lott Jr. - was the son of Arthur and Sarah Ann Lott and nephew of our Solomon Lott. This Arthur Lott, Jr. was bom in GA in 1788 as found in the 1850 census of Smith Co., TX. He married Elizabeth Watts in Marion Co., MS, c. 1820. He migrated to Marion Co., MS prior to 1820 and stayed there until c.1830 then he appears in the 1840 Leak Co., MS census. In his Texas land grant, he said he migrated to Texas “on February 1, 1841 and was a married man”. He died on January 22, 1854 in Starrville, Smith Co., TX where his will was probated. After his death, Elizabeth Watts married Henry Smith on November 28, 1855 in Starrville. Arthur Lott, Jr. names his heirs as: Mary Ann, wife of Elisha Everette Lott; Sarah, wife of John Page; Martha, wife of Solomon J. Lott; Elizabeth, wife of Cowan M. McClung; and Patience Adaline, wife of John James Lott. The above three Lott males, were all sons of John Lott, son of our Solomon Lott. These children were all second cousins. This Arthur Lott, Jr. is believed to have one other child not listed in his will. His name was Abraham Lott bom c. 1812 in Georgia to an unknown mother. Abraham married Nancy Hope on November 5, 1845 in Harrison Co., TX and settled in Smith Co., TX with two children (Barron p.9, 27, etc. January 1, 2004).
