I READ THE PAGES
I read the pages of the book, again and yet again,
The whispered words come back to me, caressing my soul in pain.
The beautiful, beautiful words of love, the ecstasy of few Whether we?re near or far apart, I am again with you.
I know again your beauty, the compassion of a heart That?s known great joy and sorrow. Laughter and tears impart.
Boundless strength and gentleness with out restraint.
I turn the pages of the book but the words no longer paint The dream of yesteryear. Only blurs and spaces face me now.
But ? the story must go on, somehow.
THE LAST TEAR
(LAMENT)
I have cried the last time for the falseness of the world.
I have shed the last tear for an illusion of beauty Which now I know as unbeautiful, a naked truth unfurled. Indifference is a bitter loaf and, ?, God, my soul is hungry For trust in Truth, that I may be found trustworthy. Where is Truth? Dangling in a twisting colorful lie? Where is Heart? Does a breaking Heart break, to die?
0,	to see a moment with such beauty as this Evolve into a mire of the Judas kiss.
I have cried the last time, I have shed the last tear.
