FRUSTRATION
I placed you on a pedestal and worshipped from afar,
I drempt a dream of beauty, and awakened to a fallen star.
Now there are no illusions, no joy nor love abounds,
Only a deep sadness in a heart where there once were sounds Of songs of angels and love of purest thought.
I think to try recapture but,?surely, has all been for naught?
Hope springs anew eternal it is said?but is it so?
There is a time for everything, is it now the time to go?
The pattern of life repeats itself, and the joy we have today Is gone with the dawn of tomorrow, leaving a void of yesterday.
To be filled with more tender beauty or strong hate and bitterness. Go forth alone unhappy one! Tis known, we make our own distress.
THE SPECIAL PLACE
One day, in this special place, when the warm wind runds its gentle fingers through your hair,
You may recall the times when you and I were together there.
To smile and watch all the mysterious beauty of the things of our garden
Blend into and be encompassed by the ethereal wonder of the infinite.
Precious moments that will live forever in my mind and heart,
And, hoopefully, you will remember too, all these things, when we?re apart.
Apart only in the mortal flesh; the spirits being bound inseparably together.
If you should wish, I would come to be with you to share again
The magic moments of The Special Place, and you will know that I shall love you forever.
