Mrs. Grace Ortte of Bay St. Louis was commended on celebrating her 105th birthday by the 2004 Mississippi House of Representatives and Senate in a House Concurrent Resolution presented by Representative J.P. Compretta of Bay St. Louis. The Resolution was presented to Mrs. Ortte this week by Compretta with Mrs. Ortte?s daughter Marion Russell to her left. Mrs. Ortte was born on December 20, 1898 and' is looking forward to celebrate her 106th birthday. Mrs. Ortte and her husband Edward, whom she married in 1917, operated three movie theaters in Hancock County and others across the coast.
