Ge 2C j substituted trustee, and- a trusteeTs deed was given on Aug. 1st, 1952, conveying said property to the Peoples Building and Loan Association.
Thereafter, on 23rd of Nov., 1953, the Peoples Building and Loan Association conveyed said property to Mrs. Clara F. Davis; and Mrs. Davis, on Aug. 19th, 1943, conveyed said property to Mrs. Eunice Corey.
Thereafter, on_Aug. 17th, 1944, Mrs.Corey conveyed said property to Mrs. Jeanette C. Carmichael, who, in turn, on Aug. 13th, 1949, conveyed same to Harold R. Morris.
We note that on Sept. 16th, 1946, the West 50 feet of this property sold to the State of Mississippi for unpaid taxes, and said property was not redeemed from this sale.
On <Jan. 10th, 1949, the aforesaid West 50 feet was patented by the State of Mississippi to Walter J. Phillips.
On the 26th of June, 1951, Harold R. Morris, et ux, conveyed all of said property to E. W. Holcomb, and Margaret M. Holcomb.
On the 21st of August, 1951, Walter J. Phillips executed a quit claim deed to the West 50 feet of said property to the aforesaid Mr. and Mrs. Holcomb.
Thereafter, on the 4th of September, 1951, Mr. and Mrs. Holcomb conveyed said property to Francis Caulking and Mrs. Adele Torres Caulking.
We note there is of record a lease for one year, with option to purchase within the year, acknowledged on the 16th day of July, 1958. This lease has expired, and together with it, the option to purchase.
We have been informed, and have a copy thereof, of a lease contract agreement, together with an option to purchase, signed on the 10th day of September, 1959, between the aforesaid Mr. and Mrs. Caulking and Mrs. Marguerite Lauria; however said lease is not recorded, and there is contained a release of said lease, typed thereon, and signed by Mrs. Laurie and Mr. and Mrs. Caulking. Therefore in our opinion the contract A3 of no further validity, and you would
