Purcell takes first prize at Writers? Association
The Gulf Coast Writers? Association awarded Lee Purcell first prize in adult nonfiction for her essay ?A Room with Fifteen Doors? at the 10th annual Let?s Write Contest during the March 26 awards dinner at the Long Beach Yacht Club.
Purcell moved here from Santa Fe, N.M., and is a member of the . Hancock County Historical Society and the Bay St Louis Preservation Ordinance Advisory Committee.
