MayH. Riehlmann, age 13 (1807)
JohnR. Riehlmann, age 9/12 (1919)
While we know John’s first wife, Emma, died in 1909, he may have started this “extra family” as early as 1893 or this second wife, Lora G., had these children prior to marrying John, and they “used” his name until his death in 1929. After the 1920 census, we can find no record of these children. With his first wife dying in 1909, it is possible that Caroline and John R. are his children while the other two were by Lora’s previous marriage.
