BY PASTOR DEUSCHLE:	Our	God	and
gracious heavenly father, we pause to acknowledge your presence, Lord, in this room today. We know that you are with us in all occasions of life, but certainly, Father, you rejoice in these special occasions. As we have gathered together to honor a dear friend, Honorable Dan M. Russell, Jr., we thank you for Judge Russell and what he means to us individually. We're all privilege to know him in that very special personal way. And his life has been an example for us to follow. Lord, he has touched and blessed us in ways beyond measure. We thank you for his commitment to the high ideals of Jesus Christ, his Lord and savior, that he sought to live by the teaching of our Lord. And, Father, we just thank you that his life brings honor and glory to you today. We thank you for his courage and for his convictions and for his competent way of living.
Father, we know that like the Apostle Paul he has run the race and he's continuing
