Records of the office of New Orleans architects Blitch Architects, Incorporated (Roland Blitch). Also, included are records from predecessor firm J. Buchanan Blitch and Associates (James Buchanan Blitch, b. 1923, father of Ronald Blitch). Active during the mid-20lh century, J. Buchanan Blitch and Associates executed public and institutional commissions in New Orleans, including many buildings for the Archdiocese of New Orleans. The successor firm, Blitch Architects, Incorporated, and the current firm, Blitch-Knevel Architects, has had many award winning projects.
PROVENANCE
Records were given by Blitch Architects, Incorporated to Tulane in 1984. Additions to their records were given in 1997.
