Main Street United Methodist Church was the setting for the August 29 marriage of Linda Hill Broussard of Bay St. Louis and J. Alvin Triche Jr. of Pass Christian. The Reverend Robert R. Miller officiated at the afternoon double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Joyce Hill of Waveland and the late
H.	C. Hill Sr. The groom?s parents are Mr. and Mrs. J. Alvin Triche Sr.

Musical selections were presented by Mrs. Patsy Smith of Meridian.
Given in marriage by her brother, Dr. H. C. (Blue) Hill Jr. of Houston, Tex., the bride was attired in a pale peach tea length silk dress overlaid with a sheer yoke. Appliques of embroidered lace traced with seed pearls enhanced the bodice, and prism-cut crystals adorned the
neckline and sleeves.
She carried a bouquet of peach roses, stephanotis, Boston fern, English ivy and pothos ivy.
Mrs. Robert (Ellen) Kane of Bay St. Louis attended the bride as matron of honor, while her husband, Robert Kane, was best man.
Serving as usher was Robert Hill of Hammond, La., brother of the bride.
A country-style bar-b-que recep-
tion followed the ceremony at the Pass Christian home of the groom.
Assisting were Audrey Manuel of Prairieville, La.; Kathy Duplantis, Jamie Duplantis, Karen Davis and Scott Davis, all of Baton Rouge, La.; Kay Buford of Diamondhead and Kenny Crawford of Bay St. Louis.
On return from a wedding trip to Acapulco, Mexico, the couple will reside in Pass Christian.
