Mr. von Gohren was bom in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for the past 45 years. He was ' a 1950 graduate of Tulane Univer- ? sity Law School. He was a member ' of the Louisiana State Bar Associa-tion and the New Orleans Bar As- i sociation, and was a director and president of the Association of Pe- 1 troleum Landmen. He was a mem-ber of the Petroleum Club of New'^ Orleans and the Phi Alpha Delta?* International Law Fraternity. Mr. ? von Gohren was an elder of_^ Parkway Presbyterian Church, where he served as diaconate 1 chairman and clerk of session. Hew? was also a member of many omi- ; thological organizations and was a co-founder and charter member of j the Law Lunch Brunch. He was a -Navy veteran of World War Survivors include his wife, Mary?
