The Bay's Pioneer Drug Store-- L.A. deMontluzin sons is the oldest established and one of the most reliable drug store of Bay St. Louis. Yhe business was founded over thirty years ago by the late L. A. deMontluzin. This firm have established an enviable reputation for the stock pf pure fresh drugs, druggist sundries, toilet articles, stationary that they have on hand at all times. Special attention is devoted to the prescription department. In addition, they have developed an enormous soda water and ice cream trade, which is due to the special pains and effort that they devote to this feature of their business. deMontluzin, Louis A., son of Louis de Montluzin, came to US in 1855 and settled in Convent, La. Moved to BSL and opened an apothecary shop in 1878. His children were:

Rene - married Menie (Vene?) Lillian Word of Oxford, Ms. Rene Jr. - m. Emily Hosmer of Greenwood.
