Pauline "Polly" Compretta, 79 of Bay St. Louis, MS died on Thursday, November 10, 2005 in Meridian, MS.
She was born in Georgia and was a resident of Bay St. Louis, MS for the past 58 years. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Bay St. Louis, MS.
She was a veteran serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II. She was also a member of the American Legion Post #139 in Bay St. Louis, MS.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Compretta; parents, David E. and Don Hudson Brannan; sister, Effie Etheridge; and grandson William Stanley Burch, Jr.
She is survived by her 2 sons, J.P. Compretta of Bay St. Louis, MS, David A. Compretta of Gainesville, GA; her daughter, Judy Bureh of Waveland, MS, and 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
The visitation was held on Saturday, November 12, 2005 from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS. She was buried in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS was in charge of the arrangements.
