10 days as allowed by law for veri fication of petition — does that mean 10 calendar days or does it mean 10 working days? That coul^ make a difference.
©he law does not seem to specify anything about the Election Commission's responsibility toward the verification. Boes the responsibility for appointing persons to verify the voter names rest with the City Clerk?
Unless we change our present form of government, it is my understanding the Federal Government will interfere and tell us what to change. Is this correct? If so, would it not be better for us to act in our own interest, rather than have outside instructions?
