lectures by local expertd on gardening, landscape architecture and conservation topics. These were held on the court room in the Hanccock County Court House. Our poster to advertise this event was painted and donated by Alice Moseley, a local artist. We honored her with an honorary membership in our club, She also had painted a picture of her own house with a large sign out front naming it Garden of the Month by the BWGC .
During these years there were several conventions on the coast. We hosted the state with Diamondhead Garden Club in 2001. With the profit from this venture, we purchased and installed a Blue Star Marker at the Veterans park at the end of Coleman Avenue in Waveland. 1992 was the Deep south Region convention in Biloxi with several of our members holding important positions. In 2003 the National Convention was at the beau Rivage in Biloxi. Alice Holmes was registrar and planned the landscape tour for the event. Others served as guides and hostesses.
