Section 5. It shall be his	duty to	see that	the	pumper and the
chemical tanks are in good working condition.
Section 6. When not on duty at the	pumper,	the Captain shall-take
immediate charge of the lines of	hose being	used	at that time, to
protect them from damage by vehicles or fa?Dm other unforseen damage. He shall station any fireman not	on	duty at	that	time along said
lines of hose for the protection	ox?	same.
ARTICLE n
Duties of Secretary.
Section 1.	It shall be the duty of the Secretary to keep a record
of all proceedings of the Company; to call the roll; to record all absentees.	He shall collect all dues and other monies due the
Company, giving proper credit or receipts therefor, and turn said collections over to the treasurer.	He shall	give each	member	at
least one day?s notice of a	special	meeting.	He	shall	notify	each
person elected a member of the Company, and furnish him with a copy of these by-laws.
Section 2.	It shall also be the duty of the Secretary to counter-
sigh all checks issued for disbursements from company?s funds.
ARTICLE 8:
Duties of the Treasurer.
Section 1. He shall be responsible for all the monies of the Company that have been turned in to him by the Secretary or farom other sources. Upon order of the Secretary, the Treasurer shall issue warrants on funds in banks to pay monthly bills or any other disbursement ordered by the Company in regular or called session.
If the necessity has arisen, the purchasing agent may order the Secretary to issue order to the Treasurer to pay certain obligations deemed necessary by him, and unable to wait over until Company is in regular^ session. Likewise, the Finance Committee may cause funds to be paid out by the Treasurer for relief within their jurisdiction.
Section 2.	The Treasurer shall keep an accurate account of the
monies intrusted to him, accounting regularly to the company at itj stated^! meetings. He shall submit his books to official committees for their examination, to enable them to make the proper report.
ARTICLE 9:
Committees.
Section 1. The relief committee?It	shall be	the	duty of	the
relief committee to visit all sick members of	the	company	to offer
assistance to him or his family. If relief committee sees the necessity, it may request assistance	througijt	the	Finance	Committee
whereby they find that the member is	in need of financial	aid and
submit their recommendations to the Finance Committee,
Section 2.	The Finance Committee--It shall be the duty of the
Finance Committee to examino ahd audit all books and records of the Treasurer and the Chief and an auditing committee of three (3) to be appointed and full audit made of the books in detail^ this to be done at the regular May meetihg of each year. They must approve and sigh any disbursements madG for the company between meetings in case of emergency of1 charity. The Finance Committee must not act on any matter except by a majority of the committee present. The finance committee shell be endowed with the privilege of making a loan to the irdividual member of the company not to exceed $100.00, and thie lean to be where there is sickness of the individual member or ceath in his immediate family. It shall be the privilege of the finance committee to aake contribution Ijd any charity or worthy cause, not to exceed $10.00.
