Confirming telephone conversation of June 17» we are forwarding to you copy of letter dated June 1977 addressed to Mr." William C.5 Allen, Architectural Historian, Division of Historic Sites and Archaeology, Jackson;* Mississippi; a newspaper article with a map of the Historic District of Bay St.5 Louis and description of historic sites prepared by Fred Wagner, architect, and a partial list of buildings which are fifty years and older in this Historic District.1
In addition to the above," at your request, enclosed is photocopy of 1967 William Macwhorter City of Bay St.* Louis map with incomplete list of Historic District and sites shown thereon; photocopy of Times-Picayune article dated May 31,'’ 1977. Regional Report, and a copy of letter from Mayor Warren Carver to Mr.1 Ray Sanders^ 717 Robert E.' Lee Building, Jackson, Mississippi.’
It was brought to our attention by Mrs.; E.' Sullivan, who lives at *H6 South Beachi that this year the City dispensed with the collection of the taxes on her beachfront property, Lot #137* and we would like to bring to your attention that no beachfront lots between Lot #169 going south on the beach toward Waveland down to and including Lot #2W at Bay Oaks Drive and South Beach at this time have been built on or developed. As of this date the owners (<I of the property facing the beach have paid tares and been under the Riparian Rights law."
The Chamber of Commerce conference room will be available at any time during the week of the 27th you wish to meet with me and the Committee for evaluation of historic sites and districts;’
