Mr. J. Chris Nungesser Re: Examination of ^itle
Part of Lota 124 and 125, Third Ward, Town of Waveland, Mississippi
This land was entered out of the United States Government by 2?Lihu Carver who obtained a patent to same on July 5, 1841, and by a straight chain of conveyances, title to said property beoame vested in Horace Paul McLean on June 18, 1896; Horace Paul McLean conveyed said property to Samuel Jerolleman on June 16, 1909.
By a straight chain of conveyances the title to said property became vested in Marietta Wiltz Hopkins, and the same opinion rendered in reference to part of Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, Anchorage Subdivision is applicable hare, as the said Marietta Wiltz Hopkins died at a time when she was the owner of said property.
It is, therefore, our opinion that the titles to the property which you purchased from the heirs at law of Marietta Wiltz Hopkins, part of Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, Anohorage Subdivision, and part of Lots 124 and 125>
Third 7/ard, Town of Waveland, Hancock County, Mississippi, are good and merchantable in you.
This ?ampletes our work in the premises, and we are, therefore, herewith inclosing our bill for services rendar-ed.
Very truly yours,
GSX & GEX, ATTOHTEYS
