Petition of Angeline Bourgeois,filed Jan?y 15,1894,shows to the Court that Leon Bourgeois,husband of said Petitioner,is a l&natic and incapable of taking care of himself and his estate,and has been in a hopeless and unintermitted state of insanity for the past seventeen year a, requiring constant care of his personjthat Petitioner has had charge of and taken care of him since he became insane,he being confined in a house in the yard wherein is situated his dwelling house,where she has always kept him confined,so that she could give him her constant care and attention;that she lias exhausted every available means she has for his care,support and protection;that said lunatic has a small real estate consisting of a lot adjoining their, homestead lot,and that Petitioner now has an opportunity of disposing of a portion of said lot at a fair price,and that it is absolutely necessary that she should sell it to assist her in his support-said land be-ing worth about ^>450*00;that there is no other property either real or personal belonging to him? in Hancock County,Miss*,or elsewhere,except the homestead lot on which they reside;that it is necessary for the welfare of said Leon Bourgeois that a guardian should be appointed of hia person & estate,and that Petitioner herein is the wife of said lunatic,of lawful age and a suitable person to be entrusted with the management of his property as aforesaid and the control of his person; and that Petitioner herein therefore prays that a writ de lunatico inq.uiren-do bB ordered to issue in accordance with the statute,and that,on the return thereof duly executed as by law required,Petitioner be appointed guardian of the person and estate of 3aid lunatic,upon giving bond and .taking the oath required by law,and for such other or further relief as

Writ de lunatico inq.uirendo as to the mental condition of said Leon Bourgeois,alleged lunatic,issued by the Court Jan?y 15,1894,and Verdiot of Jury appointed by Sheriff to make the required ex&minatiiQn adjudging said Leon Bourgeois to be a lunatic of unsound mind and recommending that a guardian be appointed of his person and estate,are filed in this cause on Jan*y 15th*,1894*
